education&experience

Born, raised and educated in State College, PA, I moved to the Washington DC area a few years ago in search for a career in advertising. I started a design internship for interactive agency Virilion, Inc, and began as a full-time designer shortly after. Although I concentrated on advertising print design and copywriting at Penn State, I found myself designing websites, flash ads, and static banner ads for clients such as eBay, Anheuser-Busch and PhRMA. I learned an incredible amount at my first job and was lucky to have such a great experience.

Currently, I’m a full-time web/multimedia designer at Results Direct, a web-solutions provider for over 100 top associations around the nation. One of my favorite client designs to date is The Story of Chocolate. Also, I enjoyed worked on redesigns for several other associations including the Association Forum of Chicagoland, the National Confectioners Association, and PRSM.

I am also available for freelance work, so please contact me with information about your pending project and I’d be happy to give you my availability and fees. I would love to hear from you!

I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a BA in Advertising and Public Relations, and a minor in English studies. I’m comfortable working in either a Mac or PC environment, and I know both Microsoft Works and Apple iWork. I basically dream in Adobe Photoshop, and have spent a lot of time working in Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash. Recently I've been focusing also on web development, so I'm happy to add HTML and CSS to my list of skills.
