aboutme

When I’m not working on freelance projects, you can find me updating my blog, reading other design blogs, working out, or cooking up a big meal to cancel out the calories I burned at the gym earlier.

My activities vary through out the season--in the spring you can find me riding my bike around DC and Virginia’s bike trails and playing tennis. During the summer I will most likely be soaking up some sun by the pool by day and swimming laps in the evening. Multiple trips to the beach are a must each year. When it’s cold out, I’ll either be warm and curled up with a good book and some wine or braving the cold, snowboarding in the mountains of Pennsylvania and Virginia. The Autumn months are pretty much all about football--tailgaiting and going to the games up at Penn State, making appetizers for the Pittsburgh Steeler games on Sundays.

I normally fit in freelance work in the late evenings and on Sundays. Please contact me if you’d like more information on my availability and fees.

I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a BA in Advertising and Public Relations, and a minor in English studies. I’m comfortable working in either a Mac or PC environment, and I know both Microsoft Works and Apple iWork. I basically dream in Adobe Photoshop, and have spent a lot of time working in Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash. Recently I've been focusing also on web development, so I'm happy to add HTML and CSS to my list of skills.
